Ugandan couple in Uganda Audited financials delivered within 6 weeks.

Financial records and accounting reports spread across a desk

    Situation

Their bank had requested audited financial statements as part of a routine enhanced due diligence review. The couple had no formal accounts, had been managing their property revenues informally, and had 8 weeks to provide the statements. They had approached two local accountants who had declined given the timeline and the state of the records.

    What We Did

We took the engagement, worked with the bank statements and rental contracts to construct a full set of financial statements for the prior financial year, and coordinated with a UAE-registered audit firm from our network to complete the audit within the bank's timeline. We also provided management accounts for the current period as supplementary information.

    Outcome

Audited financials delivered within 6 weeks. Bank review completed successfully. The couple is now on an annual engagement with our office for accounting and audit coordination.
