    Situation

Some UAE banks require an in-person visit for account opening or for identity verification. The client had a valid UAE company and visa but was unable to travel due to a medical situation. He needed an account to receive a payment from a European buyer within a specific window.

    What We Did

We identified UAE banks that allow remote account opening for free zone entities under certain documentation thresholds and managed the full remote application on his behalf. We prepared the compliance package, coordinated the video verification call, and ensured all documentation was submitted in the correct format to minimize back-and-forth.

    Outcome

Account opened remotely without the client travelling to Dubai. Payment from European buyer received within the required window. Client has since made the first of two planned trips to Dubai to complete the in-person onboarding for an additional bank.
